What Your Special Event Flowers Can Cost

January 08, 2018

When you're putting your event decor plan together, unless it's incredibly sparse or avant-garde, at least some of your event decor is going to include flowers.

Here is a breakdown of the most popular floral decor items with average starting prices.

Note that luxury-name florists will charge much more than these price guide estimates - and you'll need to book them as soon as you've paid and secured your venue space.

Why?

Because if they're good and/or popular florists, they can usually only handle floristry arrangements and time-consuming installations for up to two special events per day maximum, up to three events if they're a particularly large floral company.

  • Gazebo flower arrangements - from $75
  • Flowers for an arch or arbour - from $150
  • Real garlands - from $50 per metre
  • Faux rose garland hire - from $2.50 per metre
  • Venue entrance flowers on pedestals - from $100 each
  • VIP table garland - from $200
  • Centrepiece and vase hire - from $10 each
  • Faux floral wall hire (excluding delivery & installation) - from $450
  • Foliage wall hire (excluding delivery & installation) - from $450
  • Floral chandeliers - from $1,000
  • Succulents as guest favours - from $10 each
  • Olive sapling bomboniere - from $5 each
